Beautiful book with excellent illustrations and typeface for easy reading. Most of the book deals with bettas in general, history, species variations, breeding, etc. My search was for information on caring for a single male betta in a gallon bowl.

This book did not provide the practical advice and instructions I was seeking.4/5(40). This is a fascinating and detailed book that covers all the basics of betta keeping and loads more besides.

The focus of the book is the breeding of bettas, but even though I'm not a breeder I found the details of betta genetics, colouring, and fin /5(49).
